Different Kind of a Commission

I've been commissioned for a new project. Its for a family room on the first floor of a 5500 sqft villa. The space is absolutely gorgeous. Extremely well-lit, and the layout of the furniture is great too. I've been asked to make two artworks for the walls, select a few pieces of accent furniture and style the room as well. 

Lets start with the walls: I'm thinking of painting an accent corner instead of an accent wall, and since the room is not only large but well-lit, I think I could experiment with darker colors on the walls. Planning on visiting Benjamin Moore today to take a look at a few moody blues. Both walls in the corner are almost the same size (just a few inches here and there) but I still want to approach them very differently. On the larger wall, which is facing the window, I'm thinking of painting a huge yellow square canvas. The canvas was dropped off yesterday and measures 6x6ft. 

On the second wall, I'm thinking of hanging a few studies on paper with clothespins from suspended twine. These studies are fun, colorful, have composition and will look super cute against the dark wall. 

Today I just have photos of the studies. Tomorrow, I'll post updates on the swatches of color I found at Benjamin Moore and ideas for accents. Have a look!
